NOTE: Our Apparel Development Packages are based on the complexity of the garments and the total amount of resources required for development. Your garment should fit within one of our pre-determined packages listed in the chart above (BASIC – DESIGNER – COUTURE). Prices are based on each unique style number with a minimum of 5 styles. For example, 5 different styles of cocktail dresses would be 5 x DESIGNER. There will be a 35% price increase on development projects less than 5 styles.
Apparel development is the necessary step to getting your garments on the production floor. This process involves taking your technical designs and creating patterns and samples. A pattern is the 2D geometrical representation of your garment. We use industry specific CAD software to make patterns. Once the patterns are made, we can cut and sew a sample for your review. In this phase, we may bring in a professional fir model to try on each garment – this is called a fit test. Once the fit test is completed we will make all necessary modifications to the patterns and make a second round of samples for review and approval.
